I was looking for the perfect vacation destination for my family and me. Not just a place for beach bums and party goers, but also a destination that can cater to more demanding travel preferences and keeping true to a family friendly atmosphere. After doing some research and weighing our options, we decided to go to Cabo San Lucas.
When I say "we decided", I really meant "I decided". I will admit that I was being a little selfish, when you hear about Cabo San Lucas; it's always the pristine beaches, breath-taking waters of leisure and the amazing golf courses, I was sold….
Having two boys, a 9 year old and a 6 year old can be somewhat challenging while on vacation; keeping them busy and entertained always been a problem. I was going to golf, the wife was looking forward to getting her hands and feet massaged every day at the spa and we figured the beach and pool would be good for the kids, as usual.
Wow, were we surprised when getting to our Resort and having a quick chat with the activities director. They offered things that as a family we had never done together; we signed up for horseback riding, ATV riding on the beach, snorkeling, fishing and jet skiing. Needless to say, I cancelled a few rounds of golf and the wife only made it to the spa a couple of times.
Whether you are in for a solo travel, family vacation, special occasion, Cabo San Lucas can surely make your experience unforgettable and perfect. You name it and Cabo San Lucas has it!
